Enjoy your OWN stories
Writers work very hard on stories. Often, we are quite tickled by what we make. So, when I finish a story, I make sure to sit down in my coziest chair, with my feet up and a soft thistledown blanket draped over me, and read what I wrote for pleasure. I don’t need to fix or change. The story is finished. It is ready to be savored.
And why not display each new story on a shelf, so that I will see my creations often!
New idea: Writers don’t just write for others. We write for ourselves, too. Returning to our own stories again and again can be a real pleasure.
